It is a 12-hour online certification course that trains instructors to teach QPR to individuals, schools, colleges, corporations and effectively promote suicide prevention in their own communities. Note that becoming a gatekeeper is a prerequisite to becoming a QPR instructor.

Overview
This is a rigorous 12-hour self paced online training program that equips you to gain the competence and confidence to teach others how to save lives and help prevent suicidal behavior in one's own community by training others to be Suicide Prevention Gatekeepers.
Shortly after your completion of this course, your personal QPR Instructor account will be created. You will receive an email with instructions for account activation via email. Additional digital training materials, e.g., video, slides, etc. can be downloaded from the Instructor Resources area on the QPR website.
